Missing and Unidentified Persons (MUPS)

Since the late 2000's, a group of volunteer dentists, dental hygienists and dental assistants have assisted police agencies and the BC Coroners Service in cold case files involving missing persons and  unidentified human remains. The MUPS volunteers manage a database of antemortem and postmortem dental data and assist in the identification process.
